This is when your child's academic identity forms. IGCSE exams, A Level subject selection, and degree pathway planning all converge. The wrong subject combination here can close doors that are very hard to reopen.

The defining year — AS determines Predicted Grades
Year 12 is when the stakes become real. AS results directly feed into Predicted Grades, which universities use to make conditional offers. Strong AS performance here opens every door; weak performance limits options significantly.

The year of the destination
Everything converges: A2 exams, UCAS submission, admissions tests, interviews, and finally — the offer. This is the most intense year, requiring flawless execution of the plan built over the previous 30 months.
- UCAS application: submit by Oct 15 (Oxbridge) or Jan 15 (regular)
- Personal Statement: finalize with 3 rounds of review
